Hebrew Scripture Reading-Leviticus 19: 33-34

Hands Across the Sand

The Mission and Outreach ministry at First Congregational UCC is co-sponsoring a local gathering as part of an international day of action on June 26th.  Throughout the world, people will be gathering on that day at beaches and other public spaces to join hands as a symbolic demonstration of their desire to end offshore oil drilling and champion clean energy.  In Vancouver, we will hold hands along the Columbia River walkway near the I-5 bridge.
